Music Therapy is supported and funded by the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme). To access music therapy you must have funding allocated under the line item: 15_615_0128_1_3 Assessment Recommendation Therapy or Training - Music Therapist. To qualify for funding, sessions need to be designed to support the goals of your NDIS plan, must be provided by a Registered Music Therapist and be considered reasonable and necessary support.
Currently we offer music therapy to both self-managed and plan managed participants.
The NDIS provides funding to eligible people with disability to gain more time with family and friends, greater independence, access to new skills, jobs, or volunteering in their community, and an improved quality of life.
It is delivered via numerous service facilitators, including the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), Local Area Coordination (LAC) partners and early childhood partners.
